Author Talk with Amy Piper

The image features the cover of a book titled "Small Town Michigan," showcasing attractions and lore in Michigan's small towns.
These aren’t just dots on a map; they’re small towns brought to life through their stories, legends, and lore. Small Town Michigan invites you to explore the authentic warmth, character, and heart of Michigan’s often-overlooked communities. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, a weeklong adventure, or a fresh way to explore your hometown, Small Town Michigan offers an invitation to reconnect with the heart of the Great Lakes State.

AUGUST 24  |  6:30-7:30pm

Join us for a special presentation by Amy Piper, author of Small Town Michigan. Her book highlights the unique character and charm of communities across the state, including our own Village of Pentwater.

Amy will share stories from her travels and discuss the inspiration behind the book. Following the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to meet the author and purchase signed copies of her book.

While Amy Piper is a lifelong Michigander, she’s had adventures around the world. She even finds adventure in her home state of Michigan, where she lives in Lansing with her husband, Ross Dingman, her daughter, Alexis, and two granddaughters. Discover her adventures at FollowthePiper.com.
